The Role:
Fircroft has been engaged to assist a global engineering firm to source an experience Mechanical Project Engineer with a background in LNG Brownfield projects to be based in Gladstone for the duration of the project.

You will be required to develop and lead a Brownfield project, offering a good mix between technical engineering, project management & delivery.

Your role is to develop a strong project base and interface between the clients and engineering teams in order to manage costs, time, and resources resulting in superior full service delivery. Further to this, you will provide technical expertise as well as direction on planning, risk management, cost control, quality and commercial management related to your projects. Your high-level skillset and experience will ensure our internal systems; processes and procedures are aligned across your portfolio.


• Ability to reside in Gladstone for the duration of the project
• Extensive experience delivering projects, in an EPCM environment within LNG
• Relevant tertiary educational qualification, in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience and track record in Brownfields implementation and/or operational projects.
• An ability to lead a team of tradesmen and designers to rapidly implement solutions in consultation with stakeholders.
