The Company:
Our client is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies conducting business in countries all around the globe. They are engaged in every aspect of the crude oil and natural gas industry, including exploration and production, manufacturing, marketing and transportation, chemicals manufacturing and sales, geothermal, power generation, renewables and advanced technologies.

The Role:
Senior Mechanical Static, Equipment Engineer will be part of the Surface engineering Team. As a member of this team the engineer will deliver mechanical static Scope of Work primarily through the phases of Project execution and handover to operation. The position will also require review of work carried out by external engineering consultants and the incumbent will be expected to seek and develop opportunities to proactively contribute to savings for CAPEX and OPEX with specific emphasis on the mechanical static discipline.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Deliver a portfolio of large and small projects Offshore with Top Quartile Engineering execution, including safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
Ensure engineering are delivered in accordance with Company specifications and relevant design Standards.
Proactively work with the Contractor Mechanical Static Engineering to keep projects on track and achieve Top Quartile for the portfolio Specific packages that will fall under this position responsibility are:
- New Lifeboats including lifeboat frame and hoisting equipment
- New aviation fuel skid Both packages carries multidiscipline challenges and requires skills within project engineering, mechanical engineering and construction and commissioning skills.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSC or MSC in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent,
Strong Team player and Project engineering Experience required.
Detailed knowledge of the Relevant Mechanical Static Design Standards within Static Equipment with the capability to evaluate any proposed deviations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills Broad experience (over 10 years) in Oil and Gas Industry Extensive Experience with Lifeboats Projects is desired.
