The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
• Be part of a team working with the MEI&C Contractor's Supervison and Vendor Support personnel based on Barrow Island.
• Provide leadership support for safety and accident prevention.
• Implement safety procedures, subcontrator safety meetings and site inspections.
• Create and maintain an environment in which pursuit of excellence, zero accident and zero rework is part of the site culture.
• Monitor performance and productivity for the Mechanical Equipment installation work performed by the MEI&C contractor and ensure adequate levels of supervision.
• Integrate will all disciplines to ensure work is carried out safely and correctly and that the craftsmen have the correct certification and competency level.
• Produce weekly reports for the general Superintendent
• Oversee jobsite operations
• Ensure assigned job site operations are in compliance with design\specifications
• Monitor project schedules, staff charts, material available and equipment requirements
• Provide technical direction
• Review handover\punch lists, carryover works
• Review work packs
• Update the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, cost influence factors
• Ensure Mechanical Equipment installation work is complete
• Work with other disciplines and provide input into SIMOPs coordination

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in the construction industry specifically for construction of LNG plants
• Experience in Mechanical Equipment installation, including compressors, turbines, large pumps, rotating equipment
• Demonstrate ability to work with multi discipline field supervision and contractors
• Able to read Engineering drawings, layout drawings, vendor drawings and P&IDs
• Advance level of knowledge of HSE, procurement, project controls and work processes
• Experience working on large Australian projects, and an understanding of modern construction methods and requirements to complete site works in a safe manner that complies with Australian Standards

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience within a LNG plant (green or brown fields).
