The Role:
The role of the Mechanical (ME) Supervisor is to supervise and perform the mechanical maintenance activities associated with the storage, loading and utilities of the liquefaction facility.
This involves the troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance and repair of both sophisticated and elementary plant equipment like: rotating equipment, piping and valves, fixed equipment, fired equipment, marine equipment, rolling stock, plant vehicles, civil and janitorial activities at the plant facility.
The ME Supervisor is responsible for adhering to technical and safety procedures, recognized standards and industry practices, and Company policies.
The ME Supervisor will have approximately five (5) direct reports to maintain the facility, perform required maintenance activities and provide for reliable operation that complies with all safety, environmental and industry requirements and to schedule the daily work.
This position has weekend duty and call-out responsibilities.
This position will be located in Louisiana.
25% - Supervises all mechanical maintenance activities.
25% - Solves operation, maintenance, and reliability problems as it relates to maintaining the plant equipment, and systems via repairs, modifications, or replacements of equipment.
25% - Works closely with Daily Work Planner to prepare for and develop a work schedule. This includes, planning, procurement, prioritization, of plant work and backlog within the fiscal constraints of the plant budgets.
10% - Develops and supervises the ME preventive maintenance program.
5% - Interfaces with other maintenance groups, operations and other departments as needed to insure safe, reliable, and cost effective maintenance and facility operation.
5% - Participate in emergency response activities as job and situation dictate to protect life and property.
5% - Performs other duties as assigned

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Minimum of a high school diploma; Technical degree or Rotating Equipment training preferred
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical craft work
•Experience in heaving industrial or petrochemical Supervisory experience
•Experience in liquid natural gas or natural gas processing, or
•Experience with cryogenic storage, specifically LNG
Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:
•Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
•Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and scheduling
•Good computer skills
