The Company:
Our Client is a Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry. This role supports our clients project in Iraq. The role will be based in Iraq on a 28/28 rotational basis.

The Role:
Main Job Function:

To supervise the installation of all rotating machinery and equipment from site arrival to commissioning, including preservation, installation, allignment, precommissioning and commissioning.

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Supervision of all activities relating to the rotating machinery for process and utility systems from equipment arrival on site to start up.
- Participate with verification of spare parts, for commissioning and start up, storage and preservation.
- Ensure accuracy of vendor activities from the installation and commissioning stand point with particular focus on schedule and resources.
- Provide schedule for lube oil, filters and other materials needed during the various phases of the project.
- Ensure technical integrity of works and implementation of relevant QA/QC and HSE procedures according to standards and regulations.
- Ensure construction control information provided including cost control are accurate and are within specified timeframes.
- Ensure good interface among Company, Construction Contractor and Vendors.
- Works progress certification.
- Monitor construction activities and ensure delivery in accordance to project budget and schedule, highlighting deviations and suggesting possible solutions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidate Specifications:

• Relevant Engineering degree, diploma or equivalent
• A few years experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in Rotating machinery installation, precommissioning and commissioning.
• Extensive experience of monitoring compliance; Local/National and International Standard and Codes and HSEQ standards.
• Planning target control
• Good people management skills
• Ability to work within international team
• Good knowledge of MS Office Package
• Knowledge of English language spoken and written
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Relationship building and communication skills
