The role is based in Hardisty, AB

The Role:
The Mechanical Technician will have the responsibility:

Provides technical support and services to the business in all aspects of maintaining pipeline and equipment integrity, Scada and other areas that support that.
Operates and maintains a high pressure natural gas pipeline system, gas engine-driven compressor station, gas measurement facilities, and other related facilities.
Makes decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues and without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy.
Operates as an advanced specialist while working on highly technical work.
Is adaptive and manages non-routine assignments.
Provides technical support to engineers and other similar professionals.
