The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Member of a multi-functional execution project team responsible for planning, coordination, field supervision and engineering input relating to all mechanical (piping, vessels, equipment, machinery, heavy lifts, etc.) construction activities for a 3 trains LNG plant. The plant is a combination of modularized and stick built areas.
• Ensures facilities are built and installed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and that applicable project safety and environmental instructions are being followed. Uses a Management of Change process as required to document changes. HESQ
• Commits to and champions the development and implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Promote a positive HSEQ culture by active participation in development, implementation and engagement the company’s Health, Environmental Protection and Safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct HSE audits & reviews.
• Lead and actively participate in incident investigations for incidents.
• Work directly with contractors on HSEQ behaviours and culture to improve overall performance. Focus Areas
• Works directly with the EPCM construction teams to oversee day to day activities and issues on the Island for all mechanical construction matters for the LNG plant. Proactively anticipate concerns and opportunities, and ensure these are being addressed in an effective manner. Is conversant with data sheets, supplier drawings, P&IDs and any other engineering documentation associated with mechanical erection and completion activities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of applicable project and industry codes, standards and specifications related to the installation and completion of rotating equipment, piping, static equipment and pressure vessels. In particular to be responsible for the whole management activities (safety, IIF, schedule, quality and cost) associated with all Mechanical construction scope on Downstream LNG plant. o Provides input on constructability reviews. o Responsible for multiple construction contracts of medium to high risk, and the performance of the contractors. o Assures that construction and field procedures are developed and in place to protect Company assets. o The mechanical construction tasks are planned and completed as scheduled. o Performance deviations are managed in line with business processes. o The right prioritization is placed on works by managing the timing and sequence of works to facilitate optimal resource levelling of the execution contractors. o The quality process is implemented in line with expectations. o The work is executed cost effectively and timely. o Interface with Site engineering to ensure deliverables are issued as per plan. o Responsible for obtaining necessary support as required for problem solving. o Ensure all mechanical construction controls are effectively implemented. Interface • Work with Site Engineering and Commissioning teams to ensure equipment preservation, installation and testing programs are appropriate and do not compromise equipment performance. Strategic • Oversee strategies related to mechanical construction activities at the island. o Responsible for building, leading and sustaining a highly committed team using CSOC leadership principles. Supervises senior and experienced EPCM contractor personnel. o Interfaces with others involved in mechanical construction scope on the island, such as HESQ, Site Engineering, materials and logistics, quality assurance and control, etc. o Set team vision and direction. o Engage the EPCM team through communication and commitments. o Drive superior results. o Build across team support networks. o Build a supportive environment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 25+ years site construction experience • 10+ years as a Mechanical Construction Manager
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and a keen understanding of construction management, sequencing and methodologies. • Good knowledge of LNG construction is preferable and experience in dealing / interfacing with Contractors. • Competent in use of common computer systems and software. • Well developed communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
