The Company:
Our Client has operations in the world's most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The Role:
Support Metering and Allocation Engineer as a focal point for all metering and allocation issues, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and contractual obligations, and clients processes/initiatives.

Maintain, enhance and operate the appropriate asset Production Database Systems, validating daily data input, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of both production data and any subsequent allocation, to both internal and external customers.

Produce and verify appropriate daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports on production, transport, and sales, for accrual, invoicing and annual reconciliation purposes. Validate production and pricing elements of monthly transportation invoices.

Provide cover for other Metering and Allocation Engineer activities (such as audits, calibrations, mis-measurements, etc) as required to meet business requirements.

In the absence of the Metering and Allocation Engineer represent client at appropriate metering and allocation forums, for both operated and non-operated assets.

Additional miscellaneous duties as required, both within Commercial and the appropriate asset team, including providing support to the Gas Control team (day shift only).

Job will require understanding of metering and allocation concepts, regulations and guidelines, and strong numerical skills. Increasing levels of knowledge/skills will enhance ability to support Metering and Allocation Engineer in a broader range of activities. Incumbent will be expected to identify opportunities to enhance/improve relevant processes. Dependent on skill/knowledge level, incumbent will be expected to represent client with external companies.
