The Role:
The Joint Venture has an ongoing programme of capital investment activity comprising of gas gathering system expansion and facilities/infrastructure modifications. This work is being managed by the Projects Organization and this position will support the ongoing MOC (modification) construction scope.

The Project Construction MOD’S Supervisor is a member of the Projects Construction Team and the following responsibilities are linked to the position
•Ensure that work is completed in a professional, safe & environmentally friendly fashion at all times.
•Ensure all construction activities are per required codes and specification
•Ensure all equipment mobilised for the work is fit for purpose, well maintained, unmodified & has all safety devices as fitted by the manufacturer as standard present & in working order prior to the equipment being put into service
•Develop; in conjunction with the Construction Contractor, safe & practical work procedures & methodology statements that cover all major planned activities to be undertaken during the completion of the works
•Ensure that Method Statements (MS) and associated Risk Assessments (RA) for critical construction activities are prior to the work commencing & that all findings are passed down to the workforce at the start of each working shift or start of activity.
•Monitor day-to day construction activities to ensure that technical specifications are being met & that the final systems are going to be acceptable to both the Partners
•Review construction schedule to ensure all required activities have been included and the sequencing of work planned is realistic
•Monitor & Report on progress for the duration of the work & ensure that any actions necessary are developed, discussed & implemented should production slip behind the required completion plan
•Utilize established Management of Change (MOC) and site technical Query (STQ) procedures for addressing any change or construction issues in the field
•Supervise and coach a small team of National Field Inspectors, auditing and monitoring Modification Contractors work in the field
•Ensure detailed handover notes are prepared for rota partner at the end of the rotation


•This is a rotational assignment – working a 4/4 or 3/3 week rotation system (to be agreed with line manager)
•Normal working is 12 hours per day; working every day whilst on rotation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•College/University Degree in technical discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)

Experience & Skills:
•Minimum of 10 years in the oil and gas industry.
•Leadership in HSE
•Strong Management Skills
•Team Player
•Knowledge of industry codes and standards
•Ability to interact and motivate multi cultural contractor personnel
•Medical, Physical and mental aptitude for position

•English – Essential
•French – Essential
