The Role:
Assignment description:
The company’s MODU New Builds group (MNB), a project group responsible for development and project management for Mobile Offshore Drilling Units New build program, has currently a high workload with studies for customized design development and technical support/contract follow up of rig new builds for operation in NCS waters.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible coordinator for piping and process discipline in the project
• Responsible for the process of drilling fluid and marine & utility systems
• Responsibility includes verification of design and construction processes, MC and commissioning procedure, input criteria’s against Norwegian authority/class/flag-state and Compay contract requirements
• 3rd party interface requirements ie ROV, wireline, coil-tubing, well-test equipment
• Risk identifications and commissioning verifications according to MODU project execution model
• Identifying and follow up issues that can result in operational issues
• Identify , follow up and close out punches
• Participate in site meetings
• Responsible for compliance with contract
Competence requirements:
Personal qualifications:
• University degree or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Typical project attitude, positive in a flexible and changing environment
• Operational and project experience
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate
• Documented experience and good understanding and Norwegian and international legislation within the above mentioned systems on jack-up drilling rigs
Language requirements (if essential for the work):
English fluent, oral and written
