The Company:

The Role:
The Module Leader is responsible for the delivery, to the programme, of all PCS deliverables at all gateways for the systems within their responsibility. He / she reports to the functional SM / Group Leader in the CoC and is matrixed into the PL on the programme. He / she is responsible for resolving conflicts between Module Teams and issues escalated from Lead Engineers.

The system breakdown at Module level is, typically, similar to that of responsibilities of CoC SM and in line with the vehicle systems breakdown. The requirement for a specific Module Leader will be determined by the PL on the programme in conjunction with the CoC.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on the role of Module Leader on the development of a new vehicle derivative. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, the Module business objectives, manage the technical and commercial aspects of programme delivery.

Outlined responsibilities (But not limited to):
• Attend key meetings including project reviews, start up meetings etc.
• Setting and managing delivery of attributes including performance, cots, weight, quality.
• Manage the exterior clay model feasibility activities.
• Manage supplier engagement requirements.
• Provide the interface between theirs and the others Modules and the programme team.
• Report project status metrics to the programme management team.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews for the resolution of technical issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience within the following:

• Degree or similar engineering qualification.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to overcome cultural barriers.
• Significant automotive engineering experience in one of the required development field.
• Able and willing to travel overseas as required by the project or company.
