The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:

Support the Marketing Operations Manager in the direct management of the Motorshows programme to promote the product range and the Brand Image, ensuring worldwide consistency through careful cross functional and group planning, administering, organization and implementation of show design and product display at all International and regional Motorshows.

Operating with direct responsibility for collaborating across all internal departments and stakeholders that have a direct or indirect association with Motorshow, in particular the Board, PR, Brand Communications, Regional Teams and Bentley Collection teams and the operational functions of Press and Special Cars, Transport and Logistics functions.


Management of the current Motorshow Programme
- Manage agency and suppliers to ensure consistently high levels of delivery and performance
- Work with the PR and Marketing Communications team to facilitate new product launch at motorshows.
- Manage internal stakeholder relationships ensuring each Motorshow is measured against both the Motorshow Strategy and the Business objectives
- Manage and maintain the relationship with the Group with specific reference to Motorshow representation, space allocation, budgets, Brand profile.
- Manage Venue relationships
- Work with the Regional Teams to ensure consistent Brand representation at all A, B and C shows.
- Responsibility for managing and implementing the Motorshow budget.
- Preparation and submission of Planning Round budgets associated with motorshows ensuring cost efficiencies where possible
- Responsibility for implementing a control process to support management of motorshow budgetary spend in line with Global Purchasing and Finance/ Accounts systems and processes
- Implementation of tenders and carrying out benchmarking exercises to ensure value in services obtained from external suppliers.

Development of a Rolling 3 Year Motorshow Strategy
- Support the Marketing Operations Manager in the development of a rolling 3-year Motorshow Strategy, working with the Launch Planning Team, Group, Regional Teams and relevant key stakeholders,.
- Facilitate the introduction of the Strategy by regular meeting with cross business stakeholders
- Collate the appropriate data to inform the Strategy meetings
- Communicate and follow-up on outputs / actions agreed
- Make appropriate recommendations to the Strategy meetings

Manage the procurement of suppliers to provide services required to support the Motorshow Programme
- Work with the cross functional motorshow team to ensure adherence to the Bentley and VW Group Procurement and Finance process in the delivery of services to support delivery of motorshows
- Producing tender documents and briefing information required for the provision of stand suppliers and support other teams in the production of their briefing documents relating to the overall motorshow projects
- Create the framework for cross business consultation in regards to third party provision of services for motorshows.

Ensure concise and consistent Motorshow feedback and reporting
- Working with the key stakeholders (including CRM, Communications, Digital and Collection Team) to identify motorshow objectives and KPIs in the early planning stages.
- Develop and implement reporting infrastructure and template tools through working with the stakeholders to ensure follow up and feedback mechanism is in place for all shows

Manage production of Motorshow communications materials
- Work with the Marketing Communication Team in the production of Motorshow communications materials that support product and brand messaging.
- Benchmark against competition at shows and provide input to Communications team on requirements for next shows.
- Ensure all communications are developed in line with corporate CI guidelines

- Accountable for annual marketing budget allocated to the Motorshow Team
- Accountable for annual marketing capital budget allocated to the Motorshow Team


- Previous experience of a similar role within the automotive or luxury sector
- A hands on approach with excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English language and good experience of communicating effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a small team
- Must be able to demonstrate enthusiastic and flexible approach to working practices
- Ability to work with and influence others, building credible and positive relationships at all levels
- Able to work unsupervised with minimal direction
- Previous experience of managing agencies
- Previous experience of managing budgets
- marketing degree and /or appropriate marketing qualification such as the CIM desirable
- Current driving licence
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Second language (German or French) preferred
