The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Distribution & Transmission service engineer to carry out inspection, maintenance & cable jointing activities.

Ø Ensure ethical behaviour in line with the code of conduct

Ø Contribute to the Substation Service budget in terms of orders/revenue and EBIT.
Ø Provide Technical support for the team and customers.
Ø Lead, Manage and develop the Substation Service Team apprentices.
Ø Provide input into the tendering process for service work and projects.
Ø Ensure conformity to the Electrical safety Management System.

Ø Interact and support contracted customers and their expectation of the Service
Ø Ensure legal compliance for customers.
Ø Responsive to customer requests.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ø Knowledge of the MV Products.
Ø Strong background in the power sector service & maintenance.
Ø Experienced in HV, MV and LV cable jointing.
Ø Demonstrate excellent customer focus.
Ø Completed basic electrical switchgear & transformer maintenance course.
Ø City & Guilds 236 or 232 certificate or equivalent NVQ.
Ø Full driving license

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ø IOSH managing safety.
Ø Safety passport.
Ø CSCS card Holder
Ø SF6 competent person.
