The Company:
Our client is one of Australias largest oil and gas producers who is committed to help meet the worlds energy needs while addressing the challenge of sustainability balancing economic growth, social development and environmental protection. The Business Development team based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea require a National Content Analyst to join their team on a residential assignment basis.

The Role:
• Assists Workforce Development and Supplier Development Leads in collecting and reviewing monthly National Content data
• Reports on Enterprise Centre Key Performance Indicators
• Prepares monthly accrual reports on behalf of National Content
• Reviews and works with finance and accounting on the National Content monthly cost reports. Quality checks report to ensure all charges are for the National Content account.
• Assesses supplier development effectiveness for the project and the affiliate.
• Assists in the development of the supplier development components of National Content reports for various stakeholders (Corporate, Government, Lenders and Co-Venture Partners)
• Ensures National Content staff understand their responsibilities regarding CIMS and OIMS and coordinates with appropriate reviews and audits.
• Represents National Content in various meetings with external customers. Also accompanies the Enterprise Centre on similar meetings.
• Interfaces with the Finance and Controls.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of accounting, understanding of procurement, contracting and accounting systems.
• A good working knowledge of the Papua New Guinea Companies Act.
• A good working knowledge of the labor laws.
• Strong skills in verbal and written communication to both internal corporate/team groups as well as external groups.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret legislation.
• Good understanding of business plans.
• Experience working with small business enterprises.
