The Company:
Our client is a leading provider of a full range of services to the oil and gas industry. Due to expansion they are currently looking for a Naval Architect to work in their new Floating Production business line. My client has recently acquired two vessels and is currently looking to grow their Floating Production business with FPSO Specialists.

The Role:
The Naval Architect will be responsible for all development, design, specification and services related to all FPSOs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare general specifications for ship conversions by contractors
- Prepare marine specifications for FPSO and Risers
- Coordinate the input from other disciplines into the marine specifications
- Coordinate with the various discipline leaders to ensure the problem free completion of EPC scope documents
- Assist in contractor competency evaluation and supervise work done by contractor engineers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Naval Architecture/Offshore Engineering
- Experience working on FPSO projects from concept to completion

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of strength, stability, motions, mooring and space/weight management issues and all related regulations
- Knowledge of marine, process and electrical disciplines
- Knowledge of all international design codes and ship classifications for FPSOs
- Experience of marine structural dynamics related to ship stability
