The Company:
A major Oil and Gas operator for an Offshore project

The Role:
The service holder is in charge, within the FPSO team and under the responsibility of the Naval Architect Leader of activities related to Hull structure, hull appurtenances structure, Living Quarter structure, structural parts of the safety
studies on Hull and Living Quarter (collision, blast, dropped object) and mooring system.
The service holder will ensure, during detailed engineering and construction, that all deliverables and documents (both internal and external) related to these disciplines are timely issued and fitted for purpose. He shall ensure compliance
of Contractors’ deliverables and documents with Company HSSEQ requirements and specifications, with applicable codes and standards and best engineering practices, and with Project specifications. He will review deviations to
Company specifications or deviations requests/technical queries.
The service holder will participate in the management of discipline-related engineering interfaces with other concerned disciplines/packages. The job holder will actively liaise with Hull Engineers and with Topsides and Turret Specialists.
The service holder will then participate in the follow-up of the hull construction on yard, coordinate Hull Structure Construction Superintendant activities and technical aspects of mooring system procurement, and will remain, with
regards to the disciplines he is in charge of, the correspondent for any engineering occurring problem, for any advice to be given or technical deviation request to be analysed and answered.
The service holder will assist the Naval Architect Leader in relationship with the Contractor for all these disciplines.
The service holder reports to the Naval Architect Leader.
The service holder is also accountable for respecting HSSE rules and ensuring their application within his scope of responsibility.

The position will be based in Paris and then Singapore, or Kuala Lumpur according to Contract Award
Possible worldwide missions to be forecasted.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): 5-15
Experience in similar position (years): +/- 7
(Experience in hull structure and mooring design, procurement, installation engineering)
Level / Diploma: Naval Architect / Hull Structural Engineer
Languages: English mandatory
