The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client is looking for a NDE Specialist/Verifier to carry out inspections and undertake NDT cross checks.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Attend fabrication yards, their subcontractors and vendor shops as required to carry out inspection and undertake NDT cross check of completed welds for verification purposes and documenting verification activities.
• Witness as required operator proficiency testing.
• Promote safety awareness (Incident Injury Free) and safe performance example at site, fabrication yards, subcontractors and vendor shops participation in IIF.
• Audit/review of NDE documentation systems, certification and training records, ensuring that reports are accurate and fully traceable back to inspected items. Audits to be raised as required.
• Pro-active approach to problem solving and trouble shooting. Ability to provide clear accurate, timely communication (written and verbal) with line manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Candidate shall have a degree or diploma in science or engineering or equal, specific QC skill sets NDT (MUT, AUT, TOFD and Phased Array UT, RT)
• 10 -15 years’ experience in oil gas construction and fully conversant with NDE of pressure vessels and ASME V / ISO 9712 Level III code requirements.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess good communication skills, leadership, teamwork, computer literate with high level of technical report writing, qualified to ISO 9712 Level III in UT, RT, MT and PT with strong hands on knowledge of TOFD and Phased Array UT methods and systems.
