The Company:
An international Oil & Gas operator.

The Role:
The Service holder is responsible, within the project SPS team and under the Company Site Representative’s supervision, for following-up, monitoring and supervising Non Destructive Testing (NDT) activities associated with Manifolds and SDUs (Subsea Distribution Units) and carried out by the Contractor/Subcontractors during the manufacturing phase, ensuring that QC contractual and technical requirements related to the NDT discipline are duly applied by Contractor and/or Subcontractors and/or their suppliers. In this respect, and to ascertain that the facilities are built as per the project requirements, the Service holder, in the perimeter of his discipline, verifies and comments Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ drawings, fabrication procedures and methodologies, and ensures that Contractor and/or Subcontractors have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to performed the Service with the required quality level and to compete it in due time. The Service holder participates to routine and random inspections and audits, assists to daily / regular Construction meetings related to his discipline with SPS Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits /
tours as required... and ensures an adequate reporting to the CSR (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and/or implementation by SPS Contractor and/or Subcontractors, corrective and mitigation actions). In a general manner, the Service holder provides assistance to the SPS Package with all matters related to QC and Non Destructive Testing inspection. The Service holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to H3SE rules & requirements.

1. To adopt and to demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to Company Ethics and
“Code of Conduct” policy and H3SE rules and regulations.
2. To have knowledge of Company Referential (CRs, GSs, and GMs), international norms and
standards, Project specifications related to his area of responsibility, for application to the
Project
3. To ensure that the SPS Contractor is enforcing his contractual commitments, is implementing
properly his overall Quality responsibilities, stated Inspection and Test plan and objectives, is
safely, properly and timely performing his activities as per Company specifications, design
and codes.
As such, he shall:
- Participate to KOM / PPM / PIM with Contractor/Supplier with regards to Quality (QA/QC)
and inspection and Non Destructive Testing matters;
- Review the relevant Contractor's and suppliers ITP's and Quality procedures;
- Ensure that the manufacturing activities are closely inspected by the Contractor’s QC
inspection team;
- Review and ensure that all certification files are up to date, including documentation from
vendors and contractors;
- Monitor and control the implementation on site of the Non Destructive Testing,
Surveillance plans, Inspection and test plans;
- Challenge Contractor and suppliers on overall quality performance and inspection
activities, and to perform routine and random inspections on a daily basis in this regard;
- Monitor any work deficiencies and ensure the implementation of the necessary corrective
actions via review of raised NCRs;
- Monitor and ensure final documentation progress in timely manner; Follow up on the
implementation of agreed action plans, or other mitigation plan issued;
- Report immediately to CSR any anomaly or non-conformity;
- Attend and participate in daily discipline meetings or various construction meetings, and
provide support to the CSR in its various reviews;
- Participate to construction, HSE or QA/QC specific audits or visits;
- Provide regular inspection & activity reports.
4. To implement and maintain the required weekly Quality reporting system and to follow SPS
Contractor’s Quality activities through his reporting.
5. To ensure the tracking of anomalies and non conformities performed by the SPS Contractor
and ensure a correct follow-up of corrective actions.
6. In General:
- To assist the CSR as and when required with regards to his discipline;
- To provide technical support and assistance to any query related to his discipline;
- To implement his discipline methods for the supervision of the day to day activities;
- To analyse / resolve QC and Non Destructive Testing issues and problems encountered
by Company personnel.
7. To report to the CSR, in particular when deviations to works’ procedures or quality problems
are encountered and detected.
8. To prepare and issue release note and/or appropriate certificate with appropriate punch list if
needed at time of release
9. To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation issued under his area of responsibility.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QA/QC Inspection Techniques
QA/QC Auditing
Welding, Painting / Coating & NDE Techniques
Manifolds / SDUs / SSIV

Professional Experience (years): 10 years experience in a QC/Welding/NDE role in the Oil and Gas Industry
Experience in similar position (years): mini 5 in similar role
Level / Diploma: Education to HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Vocational qualifications: ASNT Level II, COFREND, PCN
Languages: English mandatory, French, Norwegian or Portuguese an advantage.
