The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
We are currently looking for a Security & Network Engineer. The primary objectives of this position include the development and maintenance of the Operations Cybersecurity Management Strategy; perform risk assessments and coordinate cybersecurity related changes for Priority 1 systems; as well as providing day-to-day cybersecurity assurance.

Key responsibilities of this position include;

• Ensure timely coordination between Contractor’s Engineering and ICSS Supplier and in charge of the ICSS Supplier interfaces during Operation .
• Follow-up, review and consolidate the FAT dossiers activities, Configuration Management and Obsolescence management during Operation
• Review, consolidate and follow-up the Testing activities in the ICSS Supplier premises and the Construction / Integration / Pre-commissioning / Commissioning in the facility construction yard in liaison with the facility team.
• Maintenance of the IT Layers within the ICSS environment (then during Operation).
• Provide a high level of support and collaboration with Instrument & Controls (I&C) teams.
• Provide support to I&C teams in the administration of passwords and permissions on all instrumented systems e.g. add/delete user accounts.
• Liaise with control system vendors under long term support agreements to ensure anti-virus systems are kept up-to-date and that virus’ are detected and reported
• Ensure required security patches are identified, installed whilst working with vendors to ensure patches are certified when necessary
• Provide support to I&C teams to ensure backups are occurring and are being managed appropriately (either by the person or by a third party).
• Work with the business regarding risk and probability to identify appropriate IT hardware sparing levels.
• Ensure disaster recovery plans are up to date and appropriate recovery facilities/hardware is available.
• Ensuring new infrastructure is implemented in line with approved IT and I&C standards and policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate practices to manage the IT technology in an ICS environment.
• Software configuration and integration of new and updated software.
• Involved in lifecycle planning for instrument systems including development of maintenance strategy and guiding control system vendors.
• Assist in database maintenance and development within the control and instrument systems.
• Ensure adherence to IM&T Change Management requirements.
• Manage the operational upgrade requirements (software and hardware) into the relevant business area for review/budget/planning purposes.

This position will be based in their Perth office, with extensive travel overseas expected for the first 6 months of the position.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Control Systems Engineering. Alternatively a related discipline or Industry certification such as Microsoft MCSE (Server and Desktop) or MTA IT Infrastructure and Cisco CCENT or CCT Routing & Switching.
• Understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), industrial communications protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, OPC, HART, Fieldbus and other typical control system configurations.
• 7 years in Security/Network Management in a large corporate organisation
• 5 years in Systems Delivery in a large corporate organisation
• 3 years in the Support, Maintenance and/or Delivery of ICS for an Oil and Gas or other Resource / Mining business
• System Administration
