The Role:
My operator client is currently seeking applications for a Network / Security Services Analyst to join the team.

The position will have primary accountability for Network Architectures and Designs, Implementation, Optimization, Consolidation, High-availability, Interoperability, Performance, Capacity Planning, Resiliency, Scalability and others. In addition, this position also accountable for network maintenance, administration, general network support and troubleshooting of networking infrastructure to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day business operations.

Responsibilities
•Carry out day-to-day operational and technical support for the Client's network, including project work.
•Participate in the on-call roster commitments to maintain the LAN, WAN, Voice, and Security network after business hours.
•Liaise with other members of the Global Network Services team (AP, USA & EMEA) on a peer-to-peer basis, with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experience, ideas and keeping the team aware of current and pending activities.
•Maintain an effective plan of work for the current and pending operational and project commitments
•Ensure network infrastructure is deployed to corporate standards
•Ability to work occasional weekends and late nights based on client demand and field support requirements
•Other Network Services duties as assigned

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Minimum of 10+ years' experience in networking role in/supporting large enterprise network
•Expert knowledge of LAN, WAN, Voice, Firewall and Data Centre environments
•A Strong and in-depth understanding of Cisco Call Manager & Cisco Unity, knowledge and understanding of ARC, PABX, Polycom and Microsoft LYNC
•In depth understanding of MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, QoS Traffic Engineering, and other networking protocols
•Possess a strong knowledge of the engineering and operational challenges of an enterprise network
•Perform analytical, technical, cost analysis in the planning, design, installation and on-going management of network infrastructure
•Knowledge and experience working in an ITIL environment
•Experience with a major energy or mining company would be advantageous
•CCNP certification coupled with high level experience (mandatory)
•Expert skills in Cisco LAN, WAN and Voice

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Some knowledge of Cisco Prime, ACS, Bluecoat an advantage
•CCIE Certificate (Written and Lab Exam) in Routing & Switching or Voice is highly desirable
