The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
As a New Programmes Analyst you will be part of the team who are responsible for the overall planning, co-ordination, creation and delivery of the Engine Manufacturing System. Your role will be to support the New Programmes Team by being the key interface with all associated functions, gaining information to support delivery plans, analysis of data to support management reviews, you will lead the daily review process and help ensure effective programme delivery through the launch phase of a major production launch. You will work closely with cross functional teams to facilitate the development and achievement of detailed work stream plans. Assist in resolution of timing conflicts and make recommendations to maintain milestones within the Product Creation and Delivery System (PCDS)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Being hands on and approachable is key to the role, you will need to be a self starter with the tenacity to see an activity through. The role focuses primarily on data collection and analysis which will support the preparation of manufacturing programme status reports and programme gateways. Successful co-ordination of resolution actions and recovery plans to achieve programme targets. The ability to lead group reviews with confidence You will need to have excellent excel skills with knowledge of creating and using macro's being a bonus. A good knowledge of Microsoft project and PowerPoint are also required
Programme Management or Engineering Background advantageous but training can be provided as required
Qualified to a minimum of GCSE Level (A-C Maths and English).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
An understanding of Change Control and Issue Management would be advantageous but training could easily be provided if necessary. Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to interface across functions and manage complex relationships. An understanding of safety processes preferred
HNC/HND Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
