The Company:
Our Client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe. They require an experienced Night Well Services Supervisor for Onsite supervision of well services, testing and well completion operations in Kenya.

The Role:
Planning, execution, management and daily reporting of onsite Well Services & Completions Operations in accordance with the approved Well Services Programme as well as to deliver the technical objectives safely, with minimum environmental impact, within schedule and within the budget

Promote safety culture and excellent EH&S performance
Ensures EH&S is given the highest priority in all aspects of well services, testing and well completion operations
Demonstrate to the service companies supervisors and personnel commitment to EH&S
Ensures all incidents and accidents (including near misses) are promptly reported, where appropriate thoroughly investigated and lessons learnt are recorded and implemented
Promote participation in the onsite hazard identification scheme
Attend and participate in EH&S and operational planning meetings
Ensure onsite EH&S policies and processes are complied with by the well testing service providers, including PPE requirements, Permit to Work, Energy Isolation, Confined Entry, Lifting Procedures, Incident Reporting, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), etc.

Continuous Improvement
Ensures continuous improvement, ideas from the rig, from after action reviews and lessons learned are incorporated into daily work instructions and implemented in all Well Services & Completion Operations
Engage & encourage workover rig contractor as well as service companies to offer suggestions for increasing safety & operational performance

Operational Support
Provide daily operational & technical expertise in execution of Well Services & Completion Operations to deliver well services and completion plans and objectives
Manages daily operations and logistics
Planning for future operations and ensures required materials and services are available at rig site in an suitable timeframe
Work with service providers to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds requirements
Provide technical input and when required offer engineered solutions to well testing & completion problems
Provide concise & informative daily reports

Risk Management
Provide written work instructions to well site crews with emphasis on key risks & measures to avoid NPT

Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, service companies and Co representatives on the rig
Be willing to work in an international environment with international crews

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in an Engineering Discipline preferred (but not essential)
Valid Well Control Certification (IWCF)
Experience in supervising of Well Services, Pumping, Testing and Completion Operations
Extensive experience in working on remote land rig operations
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Interpersonal (soft) skills necessary to establish good working relationships with international teams
High proficiency with IT and industry software including MS Suite
Valid medical certification fit to work in remote African locations
