The Role:
Only candidates who already have the rights to work in Azerbaijan will be considered for this role

• Demonstrate personal HSSE leadership and excellent HSE behaviours at all times, and ensure that safety expectations are communicated and maintained.
• Review engineering design and provide comments toward “commissionability “ at site
• Development of Limit of System Handover (LOSH) drawings
• Mentor national and junior team members as necessary
• Ensure all Commissioning discipline Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians deployed on process systems Leak Testing are fully aware and understand the projects safe working practices and ensure they are adhered to, to maintain a SAFE working environment.
• Ensure that any engineering changes to systems, are captured and marked up on project master P&ID’s with regard to Leak Test Packs.
• Responsible for approving the Contractors Leak Test Packs along with Commissioning Process Engineer.
• SPA for the review / acceptance of the relevant N2He leak test-packs required for the onshore & offshore N2He programmes within the onshore / offshore commissioning phases
• Ensuring all relevant Training and Coaching is undertaken and implemented for all Azeri Nationals within the Mechanical Commissioning group to develop their technical understanding of engineering principles and practical skill level.
• Ensuring that all commissioning procedures and paperwork within the SHMP related to leak testing is completed to enable a smooth hand over of systems to Operations.
• Provide assistance where required to Operations group for studies & preparation of “start up” procedures / documentation with regard to leak tests and inerting of systems.
• Reduce contractor personnel on site.
• Reduce time on site for contractor’s equipment.
• Reduce the amount of Nitrogen and Helium requirements for the Execution of the leak testing.
• Reduce overall costs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 20+ years of experience in management of World Class Nitrogen/Helium, flange management companies covering office preparation activities, logistics, site implementation related to Oil and Gas Contracts Onshore and Offshore.
• Demonstrate flawless record of meeting Industry Safety norm statistics in relationship to use of Nitrogen gasses and leak testing.
• Demonstrate time saving off the critical path on another project.
• Proven track record delivering required role or similar within the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Track record of relevant commissioning experience on Mechanical Systems on international onshore or offshore facilities, and demonstrate a deep understanding of Commissioning process including:-
• Proven previous involvement with N2He Contractor in similar scale projects
• Proven previous involvement with bolt tightening and flange management procedures
• Produce N2He detailed leak test packs with approved industry isolations at test limits
• Quantify all test gass
