The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Management of the NPI (New Product Introduction) and ensuring that the launch processes are robust and executed with integrity.
Responsible for supplying quality metrics at the LMM (Launch Management Meeting) and NMLR (New Model Launch Review).
APQP (Advanced Product Quality Process) / ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) /PPAP (Production Part Approval Process):
managing APQP actions and reporting to our customers - internal and external. Delivering completed APQP processes and sample approval signoffs with customers, specifically:
Control plans validation o PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis
Process capability approver on behalf of Quality Dept.
Define process validation plans
Ensure error proofing is planned and approved
Support the Batch and Hold governance for all new model launches
Use SAP for new/change suppliers or parts.
Responsible to maintain the Quality Departments AIMS (Automated Issues Management System) process. Review, capture and apply best practice and lessons learned for the Quality Department at EMC UK.
Review, develop the quality launch test plans for new and derivative engines.
Represent Quality in MTC (Manage the Change) and DCP (Dynamic Control Plan) Meetings

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Proven track record in driving quality deliverables
Has the ability to deliver under accelerated timeframes

Clear understanding of standard automotive model launch tools
Conversant with all aspects of APQP and PPAP controls and documentation
Ideally has experience in a launch / quality role in an automotive or similar environment and experienced end to end programs resulting in customer acceptance and program completion.
Educated to HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering/manufacturing discipline
Significant experience ideally in an automotive sector.
Good working knowledge of Quality tools in
