The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
- Specialist vehicle NVH Engineering support, providing test and development support involving delivery of powertrain refinement targets at a full vehicle level on forward model lines, including reporting out at technical and programme gateways reviews.
- Work closely with CoC teams, especially powertrain to identify cost effective solutions to any NVH issues arising from installation of diesel and gasoline powertains.
- Conduct attribute development test activities including track testing of prototype vehicles,
- Conduct competitor benchmarking as required, enabling targets to be established in line with programme Product Attribute Level (PALs).
- Support work with VET team and NVH Technical Specialists to complete definition of vehicle level targets appropriate to power train NVH and road NVH performance.

Skills Required:
- Applicants should be educated to degree level / equivalent significant experience.
- Experience of vibro-acoustic test and development projects
- Objective measurement and analysis experience, preferably in the LMS environment.
- Good background in general engineering methods and standards
- Good data analysis and PC skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent team working and adaptability is essential.
- Applicants require good presentation skills to represent the Vehicle NVH attribute within the project/program and senior review forums.

Skills Preferred:
- Previous involvement in vibro-acoustic projects that demonstrable involvement in detailed testing and analysis of NVH issues.

Experience Required:
- Experience of vibro-acoustic testing and development.
- Objective measurement and analysis experience, preferably in an LMS environment.
- Good background in general engineering methods and standards
- Good data analysis and PC skills.
- Full UK driving license.

Education Required:
- Applicants should be educated to degree level / HND + equivalent significant experience.
- Further NVH related training
