The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The position is for an NVH project engineer to be based within the Research Department, developing new NVH technologies, methods and solutions within the Company's technology delivery systems. The work covers a wide range of technologies and applications across the field of acoustics and vibration engineering. The candidate must have a broad background in NVH or sound and vibration engineering and be able to apply themselves to the solution of problems as well as to developing systems and procedures to deliver projects.

Skills Required:
A good understanding of general sound and vibration engineering and signal processing is essential. Strong project management, accuracy, diligence, ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks to meet customer needs.

Skills Preferred:
Software skilles (Matlab/simulink) and hardware interface programming is a significant advantage.

Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years experience of vibration / NVH engineering. Experienced in using industry standard instrumentation and tools (LMS Test Lab, Bruel & Kjaer and Matlab etc.) Project engineering skills (timing plans, work instructions, costing, reporting, data presentation, health & safety).

Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of technology development processes (e.g. GTDS) is a significant advantage.

Education Required:
The successful candidate will be qualified to degree standard or equivalent in engineering and / or acoustics or equivalent experience.#
