The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Deliver advanced product development support of intake and exhaust systems.
- Taking the lead for planning, NVH testing, measurements, rig preparation, part procurement & data processing.
- Leading cross-functional communication and support from other attribute and commodity departments to deliver NVH testing and analysis requirements as necessary.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Background in NVH measurement, practice and analysis essential, using industry standard instrumentation and tools (Bruel & Kjaer, DJ Birchall, LMS etc.) to acquire data direct to LMS front end (SCADAS) and or PROSIG.
2. Carry out subsequent analysis of data using LMS, draw conclusions and report work, attend progress meetings. Would be required to work in a team environment.
3. Candidate should have a proven ability to make appropriate measurements, assess data, draw considered conclusions, and advise subsequent actions.

- Ability to effectively communicate across multi-disciplinary departments.
- Would be required to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight time scales.
- Field experience would be an advantage.
- 5yrs+ NVH measurement and analysis, preferably in automotive/powertrain environment.
- Specific Powertrain NVH experience; any of the following areas: engine, intakes, exhaust, calibration, transmission

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Specific Powertrain NVH experience; any of the following areas: engine, intakes, exhaust, trans & driveline Undergraduate degree / Diploma, in Engineering/Automotive/Acoustics. Candidates from other industries may be considered depending on knowledge and experience.
