The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
Position Summary
•Provision of HS&E related information, advice, coaching to Operate by Others Team.
•Maintain focus regarding HSSE and AI matters within OBO
•Assess and Support OBO Assets having comparable standards to HSSE and AI standards.
•Act as focal point for key HSSE information within OBO
•Act as a conduit with HSSE teams within partner organisations

Key Accountabilities
•Provide advice and support on HS&E matters to the OBO team
•Works closely and collaboratively with partners and Duty Holders to influence HSSE excellence and performance improvement.
•Maintain positive communication with HSE peers in partner groups
•Proactively and systematically monitor HSSE performance; identify areas for learning. Act as a conduit for sharing learning with Duty Holders and Partners
•Champions awareness of Life Savers and behavioural expectations, working with Asset managers
•Act as focal point for HSSE and Asset Integrity management standards within OBO, working and supporting Asset Managers
•Ensure focus on Major Accident Hazards, gaining support from wider HSSE function and the Technical Safety Manager when required.
•Work with OBO partners to understand Asset Integrity and Process Safety status.
•Support Asset Managers with development, management and review of HSSE risk registers
•Act as focal point for Level 2 and Level 3 audit plans.
•Drive and ensure focus regarding OBO elements of the annual HSSE improvement plan.
•Prepare HSSE reports where required
•Support when required wider Asset HSSE activities where required
•Provide expertise on Root Cause and Human Factor analyses where required within Europe E&P

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Personal Qualities
•Confident and strong self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
•Results & goal orientated;
•Good communicator and influencer at all levels in the Company and the OBO assets.
•Well-developed coaching ability.
•Able to command respect and trust from teams
•Ability to achieve results through others.

Key Skills
•Strong facilitator of improvement and change management.
•HS&E management system and assurance background
•Knowledge of process safety and major accident hazards
•Understanding of key environmental hazards
•Ability to influence at all levels of the organization

•Good working knowledge of operations – including oil & gas processing, water treatment, utilities, logistics/marine, and preferably drilling/well operations.

•Significant direct experience in either oil &gas operations or onshore support role closely linked to oil & gas operations.

Professional Qualifications
•Minimum NEBOSH Certif
