The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
• Responsible for the communication, deployment, implementation and maintenance of the OE Compliance Assurance Process within the WA Oil and Drilling and Completions ensuring that the process is kept current.
• Coordinate the identification and verification of OE compliance requirements, their process for approval including appropriate timeframes, and prepare strategies and documentation that supports their inclusion in
planning and execution activities.
• Provide oversight and direction to WA Oil and D&C, monitor progress and identify and manage any issues of concern. Facilitate regular reviews against compliance status, identify gaps and opportunities, and communicate status to management.
• Provide direction and guidance WA Oil and D&C in the development and implementation of Programs of Control to achieve and maintain compliance with the applicable Requirements identified. Coordinate the development and implementation of specific work tasks designed to achieve and maintain compliance. Monitor changing requirements and applicability of controls to ensure gaps and opportunities are identified and managed.
• Liaise with responsible persons to ensure timely communication and reciprocal feedback with Regulators, compliance monitoring and oversight in the preparation of mandatory reports etc.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of programs to verify the effectiveness of controls and extent to which Requirements are met within WA Oil and D&C

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree – Health, Safety, Environmental, Regulatory or Similar
• Experience:5+ years experience in an HES related role, ideally within industry (but not essential) dealing with compliance assurance or regulatory compliance aspects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Drilling and Oil and Gas Experience an advantage as would be Auditing experience an advantage. Strong interface and communication skills, attention to detail.
