The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Main Purpose: Responsible for providing a professional administrative service, which aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project team.

Key Tasks: The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive.

 Provide an efficient and effective administrative support, and implementing the manual and computerised systems as directed by the Project Manager.
 Assist in the weekly preparation of time sheets. Ensure all time sheets are received and verified for accounts in a timely manner.
 Create and maintain a computerised database pertaining to the office and staff movement. Ensure relevant data is updated regularly and accurately.
 Ensure that accurate reports and statistics are generated to monitor site activities and to enable the Project Manager to report to Management on monthly basis.
 Provide a first point of contact service for any queries, both internally and externally and ensure that these are dealt with in accordance with company procedure and that all such information is logged.
 Organise meetings and where required provide a minute-taking service, ensuring that information is communicated effectively. Provide general administrative support such as word processing documents, filing, faxing, photocopying.
 Take receipt of contract documents, file and distribute as appropriate, updating and maintaining relevant registers in the process.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Previous experience in an administration role
 Experience of setting up and maintaining manual and computerised files
 Good working knowledge of MS Office
 Ability to prioritise administrative tasks and work independently
 Ability to work to deadlines
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Relevant administration qualification
 Experience / knowledge of the construction industry
