The Role:
• Manage offshore construction & commissioning scope execution on an EPCC & EPIC contract basis, to ensure project construction delivery, up to successful mechanical completion, followed by integrated commissioning of entire project scope, ensuring support during plant start-up is available as required by the asset Operations team.
• Liaise and manage interfaces with respective Operations personnel offshore.
• Coordinate and manage offshore Commissioning resource comprising of client team supported by principle contractors.
• Plan and delegate onsite commissioning of new & modified equipment and any effected systems.
• Actively lead and/or participate in SIMOPs planning and coordination, representing the projects interests when interfacing with other asset specific parties.
• Provide company representation, guidance and leadership on all matters relating to Construction, Mechanical Completions utilising the GOC Completions system, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up assistance scopes associated with the offshore delivery of the project,
• Provide review and comment on Commissioning Plans, Documentation, Procedures and handover documentation, based on brown field/green field environment exposure.
• Liaise and manage interfaces with Vendors carrying out offshore commissioning activities.
• Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. In addition to any specific accountabilities for HSSE, all employees are accountable for ensuring that they take care of themselves and adopt exemplary safe behaviours.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Sound knowledge and experience of offshore brown field/green field construction and commissioning methods and implementation.
• Proven planning and reporting expertise
• Related discipline technical qualification HNC minimum or equivalent
• Current Offshore survival & Medical certificates.
• Significant oil and gas related experience with particular experience in the Instrumentation and Control field.
• The ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with internal peers and partner representatives to influence plans.
• Possess in depth knowledge of all phases of major oil and gas projects in particular Commissioning and Start-up etc. Have a proven track record in managing the simultaneous execution of Greenfield & Brownfield construction and commissioning scopes.
• In addition you will have worked on offshore topside construction/commissioning programs, where there is an interface with a subsea Contractor.
