The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for offshore mega-projects in Canada.

The Role:
Responsible for the offshore execution of all commissioning, start-up and performance testing activities related to the Gas Lift project, including; the Dehydration package, Gas Lift flowlines, and associated utilities. Initially based onshore with periodic offshore trips during construction and pre-commissioining, followed by full time offshore during dynamic commissioning and start-up.

•Review and contribute to the development of System Turnover & Completion Packages (TCP’s). Verify existing procedures and develop other procedures as required for dynamic commissioning and start-up
•Review and verify all Mechanical Completion (MC) Pre-Commissioning (PC) and Commissioning & Start-up schedules – sequence, duration and resources
•Support and guide the EPC Contractor pre-commissioning activities. Accept MC and PC complete sub-systems from the contractor. Agree outstanding work punchlists. Monitor and drive and approve punchlist clearance
•Steward all preservation activities against the plan
•Ensure all required tools, equipment, spares and first fills are organized and available for Commissioning and Startup activities
•Identifies and manages resources, PMT and Operations, required for Commissioning and Start-up (staff, vendors, materials, equipment, and services).
•Provide oversight of EPC Contractor offshore personnel and vendors
•Lead dynamic commissioning activities through to System Turnover to Operations
•Lead the Turnover and Acceptance process with support from EPC Contractor personnel
•Manage completion of all TCP documentation requirements leading to System Turnover and execute System Turnover to Operations
•Lead offshore processes to ensure that systems are completed, and turned over fully commissioned and ready to operate
•Lead PSSR’s and start-up walkthrough reviews.
•Manage and perform start up activities with Operations support
•Manages and executes Performance and Acceptance Testing with Platform Operations personnel
•Manages offshore component of Final Acceptance.
•Provides post-start up surveillance and system tuning, performance testing and system troubleshooting.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Engineering degree or Technical Diploma with relevant experience
•5-10 years Commissioning experience; gas dehydration package commissioning & startup experience an asset
•High safety awareness and safety leadership is mandatory. Leading by example.
•Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
•Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
•Broad knowledge of Industry standards, design standards, specifications, and work processes considered an asset
•Able to travel to and work at offshore location
