The Role:
•Provide daily Construction Management Support
•Capacity to work within the project as one team “Integrating 3rd parties” as required.
•Scheduling of ad hoc risk assessments for construction activities, e.g. naked flame hot work
•Support the company for Construction readiness assurance
•Attend all Constructability Reviews
•Liaise and support to provide assurance for material management
•Support HIRA, Hazid and Hazop activities.
•Monitor productivity and implement appropriate initiatives.
•Liaise with companies to ensure adequate review of the construction plan. Endorsement of this before issue, ensuring SIMOPS and available workscopes have been taken into consideration, including Ops & Maintenance scopes.
•Review of Project POB requirements to achieve successful implementation of planned work. Ensuring that the necessary competencies are correct before POB mobilization.
•Review and authorize weekly timesheets
•Approval of all onshore standby requests
•Liaise with Commissioning team to ensure offshore construction methodology compliments commissioning strategy.
•Coordinate and liaise with the Offshore Construction Managers (OCM). Inclusive of OCM holiday cover. Which includes all offshore roles & responsibilities
•Act as Lead Construction Engineer delegate in his absence

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.

The position demands a high level of technical and organisational ability. Essential dimensions for the job are leadership qualities, supervisory skills and the ability to motivate and develop others. You will also be able to effectively and easily communicate with individuals at a range of organisational levels. You will be able to take a leadership role, and co-ordinate team efforts in resolving problems.
Experience in oil and gas operations or within a related industry of which should be in a supervisory / management role.
Knowledge of key computer software such as Microsoft Office is a pre-requisite
