The Company:
Our client has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from 22 platforms and 3 subsea production installations. Most of the platforms are unmanned and remotely operated; four have gas treatment facilities.

The Role:
Purpose:
To supervise, and control a Construction Contractor in order to ascertain the implementation of all non routine activities that are taking place during the period that the SEAFOX 2 is positioned next to a production facility in order to ensure:
Implementation of the Contractor’s preparation packages, consensus on their implementation with RSES, respect of planning, respect of duration of production stops, agreement on the applicable specifications and procedures. The organization of the activities shall be focused to avoid clashes and to find and apply synergies. Depending the volume and risk also the non routine activities on satellites could be included.

- Ensure implementation of the work packages. To supervise, and control a Construction Contractor in order to ascertain that the plant will be built as per drawings, specifications, procedures, and schedule.
- Manage the interfaces and report to RSES for the Daily Activities in close coordination with Construction Engineer and/or Construction Superintendent (OCMM).
- Progress reporting on the integrated planning.
- Check that required information required for the site works and to be provided by the job holders is available on time.
- Consolidate between job holders and RSES which procedures, instructions, Group Rules or General Specification are mandatory for the activities.
- For all Work packages (incl SOW), define the who does what with the RSES, related to the preparation of HSE actions, site access and access to installations and procedures to be followed (spading, gas free delivery, flooding, venting & purging, cleaning, leak testing, switching etc….).
- Implement the consolidated FOD isolation plans with approval of the RSES, purging and cleaning procedures as well as leak testing/start-up procedures.
- Reports on the critical path of the integrated plan and makes sure that fall back scenarios have been worked out.
- Anticipate on potential problems and downgraded situations,
- Ensures that Contractors supervise the performance of their own jobs in accordance with Contractual requirements and to object for good workmanship, good HSE practices and in accordance with the contractual and applicable technical specifications, costs, planning, to ensure that work is carried out as per Contract and COMPANY quality standards,
- Arrange additional resources to reinforce safety supervision upon request of the RSES.
- Report on a daily basis to Campaign leader on REAL progress, non-conformities, issued site instructions and areas of concern.
- Adapt the planning if felt justified but still aiming for objectives as set by campaign Leader.
- To be part of important decisions affecting the schedule and/or technical implementation of the
- Stimulate HSE anomaly reporting of the Contractors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification: MTS (BSc) degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
