The Company:
Our client is a leader in the Energy industry. They are an electricity and gas company that connects consumers to energy sources through its networks. As a result of a successful project award they are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager for a major FEED study on a flagship CCS project in the UK. Our client is responsible for the front-end engineering and design, consenting, risk evaluation and full-life cost estimation for the development of the carbon dioxide transport and stor

The Role:
The Offshore EPC Tender/Contracts Manager will be part of the Project Engineering Team reporting to the Project Engineering Team Manager. The Offshore EPC Tender/Contracts Manager will be based at the Warwick Project Office.

The role will be suited to an Offshore EPC Tender/Contracts Manager with experience of: -
• Oil and/or Gas Offshore Transportation and Storage.
• Oil and/or Gas Offshore Facilities.
• Oil and/or Gas EPC Contract Tender Preparation and Evaluation.

The responsibilities and duties of the Offshore EPC Tender/Contracts Manager will include: -
• Management of the production of the Technical, Engineering, Construction, Operating and Maintenance elements of the Offshore EPC Tender package(s).
• Managing liaison with other teams involved with the Offshore EPC Tender production: -
o Procurement.
o Finance.
o Commercial Negotiations.
o Legal.
o Safety, Health and Environment.
o Planning/Consenting.
• Develop scheduling and programme of EPC Tender activities.
• Liaise with the FEED Subcontractor to ensure FEED works being undertaken and necessary for the Offshore EPC Tender(s) are compliant with company requirements.
• Identify and arrange for 3rd Party support where necessary, including: -
o Preparation of scopes of works.
o Management of Subcontractors.
• Manage the Offshore EPC Tender evaluation(s).
• Attend review sessions with all parties (Client, Company, FEED Subcontractor and EPC Tenderer's).
• Production of regular reporting showing milestones, progress and issues associated with the Offshore EPC Tender packages and subsequent Tender Evaluation activities.


In addition it would be beneficial if the Offshore EPC Tender/Contracts Manager had experience in:
• Transportation and storage of liquid (dense phase) carbon dioxide.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• It is expected that the successful candidate will have considerable and relevant experience in the management of Offshore EPC Tenders/Contracts for Transportation systems and facilities within the Offshore Oil and/or Gas industries.
• Candidates should hold recognised engineering qualifications relevant to the position.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Candidates with membership of relevant professional / industry bodies are preferred
• Previous experience of Offshore Transportation systems and facilities containing high pressure carbon dioxide and/or carbon capture and storage systems is desirable but not an essential requirement.
