The Company:
Our Client is a global operator in the Oil and Gas sector.

The Role:
Job Purpose:
The Offshore Facilities Delivery Lead has the responsibility to ensure that the offshore facilities are delivered safely, on time and to budget. The facilities scope of our client's project is over $350MM and includes two deepwater subsea pipelines, a dynamic riser, two manifolds, umbilicals, flying leads, new subsea wells (scope of others) and modifications to the topsides FPSO equipment.

Responsibilities and key objectives
• To be the “back-stop” delivery manager for the project's equipment and services
• To coordinate the delivery team(s) to ensure timely and safe delivery of the project infrastructure (excluding wells)
• To support, lead and mentor the individual delivery managers in their role (or assume the role in their absence)
• To direct all equipment deliveries and installation contractors
• To support the Project Manager
• To work with Drilling and Production Groups to agree simops precedents on a case by case basis
• To encourage team spirit within the project Contractors’ and suppliers’ organisations
• To support the offshore installation contractors during the installation of the subsea facilities (in-country presence required)
• To construct a training programme for Ghanaian nationals for subsea capability
• To ensure safety culture is encouraged, to attend all hazops, hazids and provide experienced support
• To review and approve all installation procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications
• Engineering degree
• Chartered Engineer (or PE)
• Member of appropriate Institution

Experience:
• At least 15 years experience of offshore project construction activities for both contractors and clients.
• A minimum of 5 years experience of deepwater developments
• West African experience preferred
• Topsides equipment experience (compressors and pumps)
• Offshore installation experience
• Well operations experience
• Subsea operations
• ROV operations and tooling

 Excellent verbal, written and aural communication skills
 Able to work effectively as part of a team
 Ability to work on own initiative
 Takes a proactive approach
 Ability to take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion
 Good motivator
