The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Primary Deliverable

• Ensure that all offshore transportation, installation and testing activities undertaken on the URF EPCI Contractor’s offshore vessels are conducted according to Company specifications and Approved work procedures / manuals.
• Supervise all facets of the mobilization, transportation, installation and pre-commissioning activities to ensure that schedule, budget and technical requirements are met.
• Ensure that contractual HSE requirements are met or exceeded.

Key Technical Deliverables
ADMINISTRATION:
• Support the Offshore Company Representative at all technical meetings and during reviews of work procedures;
• Provide daily and weekly reporting function towards the Offshore Company Representative.
• Become thoroughly conversant with project documentation, specifications and work procedures.
• Bring to earliest attention of the Offshore Company representative any mobilisation, transportation, installation or pre-commissioning related issues which represent a threat to the URF Package and offer mitigating measures / work plan.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
• Oversee all aspects of mobilisation, transportation, installation and pre-commissioning activities during each shift and ensure industry best-practice principles are applied to the Project.
• Participate in offshore HAZID / ENVID reviews, risk assessments and HSE walk downs, etc.
• Support the Offshore Company Representative in the resolution / co-ordination of all technical queries and Management of Change requests.

ADVICE AND LEADERSHIP
• Provide support to the Offshore Company Representative for technical and team leadership for all aspects of the mobilisation, transportation, installation and pre-commissioning activities.
• Provide support to the Offshore Company Representative for anticipating, identifying and resolving detailed technical issues in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Personal Attributes

• Provide support to the Offshore Company representative and other members of the URF Installation Group as required.
• Be able to cope with a large number of ongoing activities including the ability to prioritise resolution to areas of highest risk to the Project.
• Be able to work with a wide variety of personnel within Company and with interfacing contractors/sub-contractors to resolve issues and conflicts to achieve the best outcome for the Project.
• Excellent communications skills.

Safety Health and Environment

• Apply passive and inherently safe principles in the handling, transport, installation and testing activities of the offshore equipment.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
• Actively participate in Contractor/Company Safety programs and training as required.
• Participate in the Contractor/Company safety performance program.
• Promote HSE aspects during the preparation and execution of the mobilisation, offshore installation and pre-commissioning activities.
• Support, promote and comply with the Ichthys Project Health, Safety and Environment Charter – Best in Industry HSE Culture.
• Personally commit to the HSE Culture Standards (Follow the rules), Communication (Speak up), Risk Management (Be mindful) and Involvement (Get involved).
• Complete an annual Personal Safety Commitment Statement that identifies and documents the HSE actions and behaviors that ‘I will’ exhibit and those ‘I will not’.

Teamwork
• Proactively adhere to and promote the Contractor/Company workplace values and behaviors exercising tolerance and respect for diversity.
• Develop strong teamwork with project personnel.
• Work closely with EPCI Contractor’s personnel.
• Ability to work both in an Offshore and Onshore office-based environment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary schooling qualifications.
• Previous experience in installation of deep water subsea structures, flexibles, umbilicals flying leads installation, mooring installation, pre-commissioning of flowline and umbilical systems, as required for the specific vessel assigned to.
• Working knowledge in following areas: Transportation and installation of subsea flexibles, umbilicals and structures; Tie-in spools and well jumper installation; Pre-commissioning of subsea systems.
• High awareness of safe working practices with regards to offshore installation and pre-commissioning vessel operations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English);
• Computer literate.
• 5 years+ experience in general Offshore installation activities within the Oil and Gas industry as required for the assigned vessel operations in the fields listed below (all diverless operations):
• Pipelay activities (rigid tie-in spool / well jumper installation);
• Transportation and installation
