The Role:
The Operations Capability and Assurance Lead will support the recruitment, onboarding and work with Learning team to set the competency standards for the Production and Maintenance Technicians in the Production Organisation. This position will work closely with the Operations manager to assist with the establishment of world class Production team and offshore culture.

The OIM is the offshore installation manager accountable for the business performance from their offshore installations. Their role is to lead the installation team, plan and prioritise activities in order that objectives are achieved safely, in a cost effective and timely manner. The OIM is expected to demonstrate natural and unforced leadership with vision, courage, motivation and good networking skills at all levels; to draw a balance between command & control (in emergency situations); to have an empowered approach to business and people management AND posses the capability to manage complex technical facilities with a clear grasp of the position of the facility from a business perspective.

The Operations Capability and Assurance Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager and Human Resources:
a. Support recruitment activities, including HR interface to ensure appropriate planning and actioning for all roles within operations team. This will include ensuring accurate and updated Job descriptions are in place and entered into appropriate systems when needed and also participating in other relevant recruitment activities.
b. Line manager role for new candidates in the onboarding phase. This will include running presentations during the initial 2 weeks corporate induction covering offshore culture and preparation for Challenger Institute training. They will also be the onsite visible leadership at Challenger through weekly attendance to ensure resolution of any ad hoc issues, and prepare for transition from Challenger to Korea. Also includes accountability for GPA, IDP set up and defining A to B training map for new starters (i.e. specific training plan per name).
c. Assist Senior trainer to ensure the quality delivery of the training programme as well as guide competency assurance for Production team
d. Support implementation of the EVP Policy, including developing and live world class offshore production team culture.
e. Delivery of procedures for new operating organisation per schedule.
f. Drive execution of Operations and maintenance philosophy actions for execute and operate phase.
h. Support trainee and apprenticeship programme.
i. Provide robust integrated resource loaded implementation plan for OR activities linked to Production team
The role will also assist with other general operational activities, delivery of key OMS/BCD documents and other as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous Experience as Offshore Installation Manager or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years experience of working preferably in the offshore environment in a Production Operations Supervisory position with knowledge of subsea production systems, gas processing/treatment &, LNG processes, Utilities & tanker transfer.
• Previous major Project experience and understanding of ORA deliverables
• Experience in develop high performance team and culture.
• Good understanding of the EP business processes and Knowledge in OE blades and AIPSM.

Command and Control
• Competent and certified in “Management of Major Emergencies”
Technical
• Technical specialist in Production Operations with the ability to diagnose, understand and communicate on a range of technical issues across FLNG concurrently.
• Knowledge and experience of Production Operations particularly in Gas/LNG production & processing, LNG/LPG Storage & Loading, FPSO operations, Subsea Wells and systems, Steam and Power
