The Role:
Malaysia / Qatar

Our client is seeking an Interface Advisor (Offshore) to join operations, initially in Malaysia and moving on to Qatar.

Key Responsibilities;

• Facilitate the proper execution of interfaces between PMT, FEED contractor(s) and third party organizations in a timely manner consistent with project requirements.
• Serve as an initial point of contact for interface issues.
• Monitor the application of engineering solutions to achieve reliable and timely resolution to interface issues.
• Assist in the coordination and processing of tie-in dossiers through the electronic Management of Change (EMOC) process.
• Assist in the development and implementation of pipeline/cable crossing agreements with third party operators/owners.
• Participate with EPC contractor in resolution of tie-in problems and discrepancies in order to ensure the resolution complies with project specification requirements and meets functional and safety objectives.
• Monitor and support the Project Tie-In List, Interface Register and Project Issues database and assist in stewarding action plans to closure.
• Ensure cross-functional follow-up on action items developed during interface and tie-in meetings.
• Support mechanical completion planning efforts for the effective planning and tracking of key activities required for project mechanical acceptance.
• Maintain detailed records to document interface agreements and commitments between organizations.
• Accountable for timely resolution of interface issues in a manner compatible with project objectives.
• Assist PMT in meeting expectations as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Good written and verbal English language skills.
• Extensive knowledge of offshore production facilities including pipelines
• Good interpersonal skills; demonstrated successful experience working in team environment
• Good organizational skills.
• Previous experience in Qatar preferred.
