The Company:
Major Oil & Gas Operator.

The Role:
• To manage the interfaces between packages by ensuring that the defined scopes and applicable procedures are followed and by proposing technical arbitration when required.
• To coordinate transverse engineering activities under his responsibility (SIMOPS).
• To manage, coordinate and follow-up the organization & availablity of offshores facilities (Surfer, accommodations)

• To follow any possible evolution affecting the project’s development plan and, when required, to recommend the most suitable technical options, while managing the interfaces with the other work packages.
• To control the engineering activities according to the project potentials and constraints and other main parameters such as SIMOPS that he will manage.
• To compile all data or results of technical studies which he is in charge of (such as SIMOPS) and ensure that the conclusions of such studies are implemented.
• To prepare and to follow up the interfaces data referential for the project and to constantly check its consistency (suitability of modifications).
• To promote innovation and costs reduction in proposed technical solutions, while prioritising reliability and safety for personnel, installation and environment.
• To check the conformity of the activities carried out by the work packages with project specifications, their impact and consistency with the development plan (notion of review of scope of work and specifications, sequence of work), which implies a perfect prior knowledge of the project’s development plan.
• To organise the interfaces meetings and identify critical points, reminding personnel internally and externally (i.e. contractors) of the technical and economic goals of the project.
• To create and implement risk management procedures throughout the project, including contractors and suppliers; and to provide related training and coaching as required.
• To identify risk using checklists, experience from other projects, and document reviews to provide support to project management risk.
• To reduce risk, supporting risk owners for the definition, implementation and follow-up of mitigation and/or fallback actions; and to ensure that the approved risk reduction actions are integrated into the main project schedule and budget, in liaison with the planning and cost control team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Fluent in English and intermediate in French.

Interface Management experience related to offshore projects.
