The Company:
Our Client is a global Exploration & Production company focused on the increase of production and reserves, the geographic diversification of activity with increased presence in OECD countries, operational excellence and maximising the profitability of assets.

The Role:
Our leading client is currently seeking a Offshore Logistics Coordinator working on projects in Namibia, Angola and Canary Islands working on a 28/28 rotation on a 2 year (renewable) contract.

Main Purpose: To co-ordinate and control the movement of all materials, rental and owned, relating to the drilling and completion operations on the assigned rig. Ensure compliance with established procedures, legislation and health and safety guidelines for the offshore operation.

Duties:

1.Control and reconcile the movement of all materials by sea and air.
2.Maintain inventory for all company owned and rental materials; ensure efficient turnaround of equipment in a cost-effective manner.
3.Co-ordinate all cargo details and documentation prior to loading and discharge of vessels to ensure a smooth and cost-effective turnaround of vessels.
4.Provide and maintain an efficient and reliable material control and stock administration facility in order to meet operational requirements.
5.Prepare all documentation including Customs requirements, Dangerous Goods Declarations and special waste as per regulations; using computer and manual systems according to statutory and procedural requirements, ensuring all cargo is accurately documented.
6.Preparation of End of Well Reports to include but not limited to, summary of bulks, rentals, bits, tubulars, opening stock levels, usage and closing stock levels. Also a summary of vessel and helicopter movements.
7.Foster good working relationships with onshore and offshore personnel.
8.Maintain close links with offshore and onshore customers to ensure all material priorities are identified in sufficient time so that contingency plans can be implemented where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
It is very important previous experience on UDW DP Drill Ships sixth Generation, Dual mast operations activity, having worked in Brazil or West Africa or both , MPD experience, drilling in fractured carbonate environments
