The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
Responsible for the movement and storage of key site construction components, materials, consumables, minor equipment and miscellaneous
• Co-ordinate the delivery, receipt and handover of equipment and materials specific to large scale project site requirements
• Be involved in the implementation and review materials control procedures with regards timely delivery of project packages
• Liaise and negotiate with internal and external clients to ensure ‘best for the project’ results
• Ensure effective liaison and feedback is provided to the commercial (contracts & procurement) team – in the management of project packages
• Interpret and communicate the scope of works for project packages – with regard to internal/external clients
• Responsible for managing all materials handling areas
• Investigate anomalies between physical and recorded stock levels
• Other tasks which your Manager may instruct you to undertake from time to time

People Management
• Training of other personnel
• The incumbent must adhere to the annual HR cycle and meet deadlines within the appropriate timeframes

• Superior communication skills to manage relationships, including influencing and negotiating for ‘best for the project’ results
• A high awareness for safety
• IT skills & reporting capabilities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
What we are looking for

•Demonstrated experience in a lead role on a large scale construction projects – specific to materials control
•Experience in logistic management specific to large scale construction
•Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal and external resources
