The Company:
Our Client is an O&G exploration and production company based in Aberdeen who operate in the North Sea. They have interests in a large number of fields, the majority of which they operate, on the UK Continental Shelf with numerous offshore installations and one onshore terminal.

The Role:
* Provide leadership through day to day liaising with OIM and Operations, Construction and Commissioning teams
* Manage all matters of site preparation for project execution, and liaison with the Operations Team
* Act as primary offshore contact for the Brownfield contractors supervision and maintain a good working relationship with main contractor & sub-contractors site representative(s)
* Ensure that all work is to the required standard and that all drawings, specifications, inspections and certifications are strictly adhered to
* To ensure adequate and qualified supervision and skilled labour resources are employed to meet schedule requirements
* Maintain a clear dialogue with offshore operations management throughout execution of workscopes. Ensure that the project objectives are clear and the project scopes are implemented in a safe and efficient manner in conjunction with ongoing platform operations
* Provide constant monitoring and reporting of the on-site implementation of project workscopes and potential problem areas; updating when necessary in conjunction with the onshore project team
* Ensure timely resolution of any site work conflicts
* Be familiar with and be aware that Company and Site Procedures are adhered to and will be complied with throughout the implementation of project workscopes
* Ensure that all Company systems of Quality Assurance are adhered to and assist the Project Quality Lead in the completion of site system test sheets and the test dossier

* Review and comment on the completion plan & procedures and advise on construction activities that impact on commissioning and integrate the agreed work scope into the completions plan
* Provide project input to assist the completions team during start up & handover
* Liaise with the commissioning team to rectify any faults identified and re-test, with mark up of as built drawings and compilation of all test documentation
* Overall safe implementation of project works copes
* Active involvement in Tool Box Talks and task based Risk Assessments
* Will be required to participate in the Mechanical Completion (MC1) System Handover (SH1) walk through
* As part of the Mechanical Completion (MC1) and System Handover (SH1) walk through team will participate in updating the Punch List identifying any outstanding issues that will prevent the system from proceeding to the Commissioning Phase, reference 'A' Punch List Items. Other deficiencies identified that need to be corrected prior to System Handover, but do not prevent functional tests from being carried out, referred to as 'B' Punch List items
* Ensure that completed punch lists are signed by all parties who participated in the walkthrough. This is required so that the individuals who raised the issues can be identified should future clarification be required
* Ensure that all relevant parties have witnessed the functional testing, it was done in accordance with the procedures, and that they have accepted the documentation
* On completion of the construction activity, Punch List items are to be cleared and the OPC will confirm there are no 'A' action items remaining. Remaining 'B' Punch List items shall be advised by Contractor's Construction Manager. Both parties will perform the Punch List clearance walkthrough

Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications:

* Experience in a similar role and knowledge and understanding of all legislative requirements
