The Role:
Ensure the final Commissioning phase and start up Operations of the offshore Tranche 1 and 2 process trains are conducted in safe and effective manner whist meeting the Company targets

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

The job holder is responsible for:

• Assist in preparation of the acceptance requirements of facilities hand over both for interim and final Operations
• Establish in conjunction with the Start-Up Team, Vendors support requirements during initial operations
• Attend and participate in “walk downs” of systems to generate punch lists in conjunction with Commissioning teams
• Assist in the review and witnessing of Commissioning Test procedures
• Assist in preparing preservation plans and procedures
• Assist in developing OJT Strategy & Plan for gradual exposure of Kazakh staff
• Assist in defining the safety requirements of facilities start up
• Assist in validating emission forecast of start up phase

HSE Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a commitment to HSE through the personal application of safety critical behaviours:
• Compliance with Republic of Kazakhstan Statutory HSE Regulations, Codes and Standards;
• Applying Agip KCO’s HSE & SD Policies & Management System;
• Supporting/ Participating in Emergency Drills and Exercises as required;
• Reporting all Accidents/ Incidents and Unsafe Acts/ Conditions in a timely manner.

Main Interfaces:

Company
• Interface with Offshore Commissioning Team
• Liaise with Offshore Operations Team
• Liaise with Corporate HSE and Technical departments

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or Higher technical qualification
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Minimum 5 years of Oil and Gas industry
• Track record as a senior position within Operations organisation during start up of similar complex utilities treatment Plants
• Valid BOSIET/OPITO Offshore training & certificates

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Good communication skill
• Ability to lead international staff
• Proactive approach to the decision making process
• Previous working experience offshore Kazakhstan
