The Role:
Norwegian speaking
For one of our clients within the oil & gas industry we are looking for a Safety Coach to Work offshore.

Position Summary
To assist, recommend and proactively advise the Drilling Supervisor, Platform Management and Crews on matters of safety and training. To provide the vital link between the company HSE Departments onshore and the offshore workforce. To implement the instructions of the company HSE Onshore Operational Safety Advisor and the company Norge HSE Manager in the offshore environment. To be pro-active in all matters concerning the safety and welfare of all personnel on-board.

Key Accountabilities
-To take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself and of other persons who may be affected by his acts or omissions at work
-To protect the environment
-Be familiar with and apply the core HSE values, policies and procedures of the company
-To be part of the installations Emergency Response Team as observer on the Emergency Plan and in Company Procedures
-To actively promote and participate in any platform based risk assessment,, company Act Safely and Rig Corrective Action processes
-Shall actively promote full compliance, by all personnel onboard
-To attend all Safety, Pre-Tour and Pre-Job meetings on tour and off tour as required
-To undertake all Safety and Job Specific On-the-Job Training

The duties assigned will be varied; these will include but not be limited to the following:
-Monitor on-board operations with regard to all aspects of safety and to advise personnel on safe working practices
-Bring to the attention of the Person, Supervisor and OIM any breaches of the Safety Management System
-Advise personnel on the undertaking of internal audits and conduct Safety / QA audits as required
-Monitor and advise on the Permit to Work System, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, SJA’s etc.
-Conduct as a minimum the following training for crew members: Platform Safety Standards, Golden Safety -Rules, HSE Training Course, Lifting Course, company Act Safely etc.
-Assist the Drilling Supervisor with the weekly Safety Meetings, develop safety meeting discussion topics, and implement actions and resolutions
-Attend on-board daily morning meetings with the OIM, Department Heads and Client Representative
-Conduct, administer and track the Safety Training Modules
-Administer and track the Job Specific on the Job Training
-Ensure that all personnel receive a full Safety Induction on arrival onboard the installation
-Monitor helicopter operations on a random basis and advise accordingly
-Assist in evaluating emergency response drills and ensure that all personnel are familiar with the Emergency Plan
-Monitor housekeeping in all areas and record how departments are fulfilling their responsibilities
-Assist in the monitoring and auditing of the waste management programme in line with requirements
-Assist in the monitoring and auditing of hazardous material in line with requirements
-Assist the Drilling Supervisor in accident and incident investigation
-Actively promote all Safety Programmes and maintain records of the Safety Award Programme
-Assists the Drilling Supervisor with the follow up to internal and external audits

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
Actively promote ad participate in risk assessments.
Be familiar with and apply the core HSE values, policies and procedures of company and TKPJ.
Actively promote and participate in risk assessments.
Actively participate in incident investigations.
Experience as a safety Coach is necessary
Norwegian language is neccessary.
