The Company:
Our Client provides oilfield products, systems and services for customers in the oil and gas industry world-wide. The Role:
Carry out the day to day site-based stores control effectively within a team structure involving liaison with internal contacts
Ensure that the toolstore is kept in an organised and tidy condition and that all toolstore activities are performed in an efficient and timely manner
Ensure that all issued items are suitably documented
Assist the Material Controller/s as required with material controls, issues, receipts and despatches
Ensure that all tools, equipment and materials are issued with the appropriate documentation and/or that any related queries are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure that tool issue/control records are, where applicable, up to date and accurate.
Carry out stockcheck/audit of tools held at site and elsewhere.
Maintain an auditable system.
Assist with arrangement of containers, packing of materials, transport etc for re-location of specified materials
Take part in project meetings, safety meetings and tool box talks as appropriate.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by the Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Qualifications / Personal Attributes Proficiency in typical software packages such as word and excel
Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the workscope is completed safely and to a high standard.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding of HSE safe working practises, procedures and their implementation.
Safe working – commitment to safe working practices ensuring that all workscopes are completed in a safe manner at all times.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Industrial experience in material control practices.
Knowledge and/or experience in offshore activities, preferably construction related.
