The Company:
Our client is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies conducting business in countries all around the globe. They are engaged in every aspect of the crude oil & natural gas industry, including exploration & production, manufacturing, marketing & transportation, chemicals manufacturing & sales, geothermal, power generation, renewables & advanced technologies.

The Role:
- Offshore Structures Engineer providing technical support to Norway projects.
- Provide engineering input through all phases of project development including feasibility and concept, FEED, detailed design and execution.
- Provide technical support to projects portfolio in-line with defined scope, cost objectives and HSE requirements.
- Perform Quality Assurance reviews to ensure technical integrity, constructability, functionality and reliability of new designs.
- Undertake technical management of third party work in concept design, FEED, detailed design and execution.
- Provide technical integrity solutions and structural re-assessments for existing assets.
- Manage focused specialist work and new technology, as required, to service business requirements.
- Liaise and contribute to wider Client Offshore Structures discipline and participate in communication meetings.
- Interface with higher discipline authorities as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in Civil, Structural or Marine engineering (minimum BSc or equivalent) with higher-level degree or professional qualification preferred.
Proven to Significant experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably within Oil & Gas industry including international work in projects or operating units.
Exposure to multi-discipline team working, project engineering and contract, HSSE and quality management.
In-depth knowledge of Offshore Structures engineering with demonstrable record of achievement and experience with operating assets.
Good knowledge of relevant Industry standards.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of Metocean and Geotechnical engineering
