The Company:
Our Client, a leading provider of asset support solutions for the hydrocarbon industry throughout Australasia provides operations and maintenance services for the Client offshore facility consisting of a floating storage and offloading facility and three fixed platforms.

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Offshore Superintendent to provide a high quality service within our client embedded team acting as the prime focal point and senior comnpany representative for offshore.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the effective and safe implementation of all company offshore activities acting as the key focal point offshore for Health and Safety, Human Resources Quality Assurance/Control and supply chain matters
• Providing direction and mentoring to a multicultural workforce to ensure safety and efficiency in workscope execution and safely facilitating the timely coordination of resources and equipment
• Participating in HSE and HR issues such as Fitness for Work, Performance Management and roster maintenance for employees, agency personnel and subcontractors
• Actively participating in safety initiatives such as prestart and tool box meetings, Job Hazard Analysis and site risk assessment discussions
• Ensuring customer quality requirements are adhered to and company procedures are followed
• Commitment to health, environment and safety and industry best practices

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant and relevant demonstrated experience in a similar role within the offshore engineering, petrochemical and maintenance industries
• Relevant trade certificate and/or engineering degree
• Operational experience and mechanical installation experience (structural and piping) is highly desirable
• Current Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (TBOSIET) and current passport
• Considerable experience in leading and supervising a multicultural workforce
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• A commitment to health, environment and safety excellence
