The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Offshore Technical Assistant to join a leading Oil and Gas Operator for a six month contract based in Perth, WA. As Offshore Technical Assistant you will be responsible for providing general technical administrative support to our Deputy Offshore Director, Offshore Engineering, Interface & Hook-Up teams.

Key Responsibilities required:

•Updating the daily schematic of installation vessels.
•Preparing the visual description of specific engineering / installation processes
•Supporting the Offshore GM HU in preparation of any meetings and workshop material.
•Developing organization charts in Visio as required.
•Preparation and distribution of weekly offshore dashboard.
•Assisting the planning team in compiling planning information on various offshore activities
•Engineering correspondence and Document Support.
•Performing any administration duties in addition to the above upon request to support the Offshore Project.
•Work closely with Offshore Project administration team and back fill as required.
•Expediting Offshore project action tracking status and close out in conjuction with package teams.
•Supporting the Offshore Engineering & Interface Manager in recording and maintaining Hazop/ Hazid/SIL action registers to assist with close out in a timely manner.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Strong Technical Administration and document management experience in an Oil & Gas environment.
•Advanced standard Microsoft Office skills – particularly using Excel/Powerpoint
•Database Management knowledge & experience
•Proficient understanding of workflow activities and process for an integrated database system.
•Have technical knowledge and experience.
•Excellent communication skills & a strong team player
•Able to multitask and work under pressure
