The Role:
To contribute to guarantee that Client will have the trained Field Operations workforce according to Human Capital Project. To participate to the development of the Client Academy offshore training organization.

Activities:
Participate in, or Coordinate and Supervise the preparation and implementation of the apprentices and Client employees OJT programs and its adaptation to prepared programs.
Organise meetings with supervisors and local management at regular intervals to ensure follow-up and permanent evaluation.
Review and upgrade the technical training materials prepared by Technical Trainers in accordance with field specifications.
In liaise with Client Academy management, elaborate offshore OJT specific training procedures.
Participate with the Client technical instructors to elaborate OJT training support and assessments.
Give assistance to Client supervisors and mentors in the supervision of the OJT activities on site.
Provide the management and personnel with the necessary tools and resources to prepare and organize training actions.
Supervise internal mentors and possibly external instructors and check the performance of training programs.
Participate to daily work permit meetings. Schedule, or modify where necessary, OJT activities in relation to the work on site
Participate in, or ensure training program execution coordination.
Organise training schedule.
Check continuously training activities according to the plan.
Assess trainee’s performance with mentors and cross-check the level of competencies
Review and update the assessment sheets with the help of supervisors.
Collect from the mentors or supervisors the assessment sheets and verify their quality content
Compile OJT assessment sheets for each discipline and each trainee.
Record trainees’ activities and performances.
Propose corrective actions in relation with supervisors on site.
Organise specific classroom training to reinforce knowledge and understanding.
Ensure training data updating and prepare related statistics.
Present the training program and achievements.
Prepare internal and external reports.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The Client has developed an ambitious UAE national development program in order to secure its operations in the future by recruiting well trained technicians operators through a 2,5 years petroleum program in partnership with Institute of Applied Technology. OJT programs are part of the petroleum program developed through the Client Academy.
During a 18 month period, the Client apprentices are trained on Client Abu Al Bukhoosh and ADMA-OPCO offshore operations facilities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
To define the suitable means in terms of training operators and training facilities.
To control the training expenses and optimize the budget (grouping sessions, in-house training,..) on Operation side.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Graduate in higher education, the holder must have a sound experience in on and off-shore Field Operations.
Sense of service, knowledge of the Field Operations professional disciplines, educational knowledge, coaching, initiative, analytical mind and ability to see the overall picture, strong and organisational skills are required.
Computer skills.
